When building a home for poultry, there are many things to consider:

• how many you will have - this determines shed size

• the temperature - mainly the maximum, & minimum temperatures - if the normal range is beyond what they can tolerate, the shed, or coop will need insulation - to keep them alive.....  

• it needs somewhere for them to lay the eggs - and you need to be able to access this easily

• can the hens run outside in the afternoon? It is possible to move the coop - to allow the hens to be able to access grass to eat - just design it that way..................

•  in some suburbs roosters are not allowed - they crow too early in the morning for some people!!

•  pests need to be kept out - in some areas, foxes will dig under the wall for a feed - netting is usually buried to prevent this

• there are many more considerations, of course

(The way it happened, wasn't even someone hacking! Some computer "tech" was eliminating some old files from my computer - to help it run faster. Bingo!! Photos gone!!!)

Concerning hacking.....

Made me rethink my computer protection.
